In the spirit of good tradition and customs of the people in the region of Nis, the City Municipality of Pantelej in co-operation with the Association of fruit and wine growers "Cegar" celebrated Saint Tryphon Day by organizing an appropriate manifestation in Gornji Matejevac. As a part of the celebration, after the morning liturgy, the members of the Association accompanied by the local priests and the management of the City Municiaplity of Pantelej, performed the traditional grapewine cutting ceremony and prayed for fruitful year.

The celebration was continued by the appropriate festivity programme which included awarding acknowledgements and rewards to persistant and successful producers in the Elementary School "Karadjordje".
