The City Chess Association of Nis, under the patronage of the City Municipality of Pantelej, organizes the 9th chess tournament in standard chess. The two-day tournament was held on February 15th and 16th, 2017 in the ceremonial hall of the restaurant "LION PLUS"/the corner of Kanjzevacka Street and the Matejevac Road/.

The tournament was ceremoniously opened by the President of the City Municipality of Pantelej, Bratimir Vasiljevic, and on the following day at 6 p.m. he delivered the awards to the most successful competitors.
