The President of the City Municipality of Pantelej, Bratimir Vasiljevic and the representatives of the municipal management received, at the Great Hall, the members of the "Association of volunteer firefighters" from Nis who will  participate at 16th International Competition of Firefighting Brigades at the City of Villach in Austria on July 9th-16th, 2017. 

Winning the 1st position on the state competition at Zlatibor qualified the firefighters from Nis for the international competition. 

During the reception, a video presentation about the participation of our team at the Firefighting Olympics in France, where they won a bronze medal, was shown to the public.

THe City Municipality of Pantelej is one of the patrons of the firefighting team of Nis which will, in July, have the opportunity to promote knowledge and firefighting techniques and skills in reacting to the crisis situations. Apart from the promotion of our country on the international level, the goal of the competition is networking with the fire fighting brigades, as well as strengthening the capacities for mitigation of the consequences of the fires and for the environment protection.
