At the initiative of the President of the Municipal Municipality of Pantelej Bratimir Vasiljevic, Mayor of Nis, Darko Bulatovic, there was  Citizens' Assembly in Gornji Matejevac, an agreement has been reached to provide a solution to the decades-long problem of water supply of this settlement. Municipalities of Matejevac undertook to settle the accumulated debts for spent water in the past period, and the obligation of the City will be that the necessary investments in the reconstruction of the primary and secondary network create technical preconditions that the PUC Naisus permanently takes over this water supply network as part of its water supply system in terms of regular maintenance and billing.
